My First $100 for Freelance writing.

Man, it has been a busy week!

First thing is first, to those who celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you had an amazing one! The holidays are always such a busy time of year. Which is why this update is a few days late.

This is a Gratitude post! My first job is completed, along with a second one. I am currently working on my third job given to me by my first client. How grateful I am to this person who was willing to take on a new writer and let her write for him. I am also grateful he was willing to give me a few pointers on my writing. I am so happy by this and will forever be grateful to him for giving me the opportunity to write on a subject I adore.

My other updates are:

- I made my first $100 from writing. Yes, I know it’s just $100, but it is a start and that is what matters.

- I have made a Twitter (@hlphilpot), and now have a professional Website/Blog. I am still adding to it as I don’t have my simple works up yet nor my current projects. Also don’t have my own domain yet, but it is a Work in Progress.

- I am connecting to people who are writers, or freelancers. I feel this is important because it is like building a community. And to me it is nice to have a community to turn to if I have a question or am stuck on something.

- I am stuck on finding my niche in writing. I have a list of things I want to write and a list of things I want to learn. Picking what to try first or do first is rather hard.

So, I offer a question to my fellow writers and freelancers out there. How did you decide what your niche is?
