My First Job as a Freelance Writer

Two weeks ago I started my journey as a Freelance Writer. And I will be honest, I had no idea what I was doing. I still am struggling with learning the ins and outs of being a Freelance Writer, but I have learned a few things; and I have successfully finished my first project! The first thing I will say is to anyone who is just starting out; before you start anywhere write out some simples of your writing. Every site you go to, is going to need to see simples of your work. Also have an idea of what you would feel comfortable writing. These two things will help you out a lot. And because when you are just starting out it is already nerve wrecking, I say it is best to try to find things to write about in a subject you already know or have an interest in. This takes some of the stress off you about what you are writing. At least for your first project. This is what I did. My first project for writing was found on Upwork and was about Tarot cards. I already had a love for tarot cards and a knowledge of how they work. Now I did do some research to make sure I was not giving out any misinformation? Yes, but I loved the project. Another thing to say; So far, I am on Fiverr, Upwork and Contra. I have not got a job on Fiverr yet; and I am sure it as to do with me having nothing on there. I just started Contra and do not have much to say about that one. But Upwork I like. With Upwork I can post things I would like to write, and I can search up what is available. When I find something on Upwork I would like to write I post a proposal. Now I have not learned a secret formula for writing a proposal, but I will let you know if I do. But I will say it gives me an idea of what is available and about how much it is. The current things I see people wanting writing for are blogs, social media content, ghost writing, reviews on sites or products and YouTube Scripts. f you would like to follow along in this journey give this blog a follow!
